Hello all,
Eisele & Huffman, P.A. would like to officially launch the Arkansas Personal Injury Blog. I would like to welcome everyone and invite you all to bookmark this blog and come back often for new articles concerning personal injury law (especially Arkansas law).

“Personal injury” as it is used in the law can mean many types of accidents and injuries. Examples of personal injury include injuries caused by an automobile accident, medical malpractice, a dog bite, a slip and fall on another’s property, or a defective product or drug. Injuries that occur during pregnancy or birth, including cerebral palsy, can be personal injuries. Victims of elder abuse, either in the home or in a nursing home, receive personal injuries which may be subject to compensation through a lawsuit. Other injuries may not be as obvious as when there is an external injury, such as in the case of a closed head brain injury. If someone dies as the result of a personal injury, the next of kin (usually a spouse, parent or child) may be able to file a wrongful death lawsuit.
If you have been injured and believe that someone else was responsible for your injuries, a qualified attorney can help evaluate the circumstances to find out if you have a valid claim or lawsuit. The following list includes examples of possible accidents that Eisele & Huffman attorneys will handle:
- Car, truck, semi or motorcycle accidents
- Closed Head Brain Injuries
- Boating accidents
- Common carrier (such as Airplane or Bus) accidents
- Elder/Nursing Home abuse
- Injuries sustained on others’ property
- Defective products/drugs/airbags
- Medical negligence
- Dog Bite injuries
The bottom line when it comes to personal injury is that it is a very broad area of the law. As such, the law is always changing so we will try to post items relevant to the current state of the law, however if you wish to have a specific topic covered, do not hesitate to contact us and request a topic. Welcome again and happy reading!
